Post 10 >> Some Reflections...

Hello friends ! This semester has been quite difficult since I had a great burden with the university and the truth is that I could not travel to the south all the times I wanted to see my parents that I miss a lot with the rest of my family who lives there. .

On the other hand, I think I made a bad decision at the university regarding the workshop I chose, despite my good performance and good results, I'm not happy with the content I can learn this year, which is not really encouraging as a student loves architecture.

Among the good things that happened this semester was knowing new places like the north of Chile, which in my opinion is really beautiful and I had the opportunity to travel with my friends from the university, which turned out to be a lot of fun.

In addition, this semester I managed to organize better with the problems of my home and university because as a housewife sometimes I could not reconcile both things in the best way.

I look forward to the end of this semester to be with my family and rest because I really feel very exhausted and overwhelmed.

Hi friends,

I usually like all kinds of music, I do not have a certain style. But there's one that I listen to almost

every day and it's a mix between Pop, funk, soul hip hop and disco style. Since I was little I have this style of music since I was a fan of Disney Channel and I think I still am. I remember that they had music sections with various artists who were in fashion or who appeared in some series of the channel, that's how I met my favorite singer called Bruno Mars. I really am a fan of this singer since I was a child who bought and listened to all her records, it is really spectacular as she sings and dances reminds me of Michael Jacksson. His music is characterized by a wide variety of styles and choreography and to my liking he is the king of live shows since he really is a talented person. On the other hand I remember that my first concert was to see Kudai and then I attended several concerts of national artists such as Francisca Valenzuela, Gepe, Nano Stern etc. Among the biggest concerts I've attended is that of Bruno Mars and Bon Jovi, I do not usually invest money in expensive concert tickets but the Bruno Mars concert was definitely worth it.

Post 8 >> A Subject you've enjoyed studying this semester

Hello friends, my favorite subject this semester is Critica de la arquitectura; la realidad chilena y latinoamericana
with the teacher Alicia Campos. The class consists of exhibitions and conversations about critical topics about Mesoamerican architecture and the architecture we see today in Santiago. Generally the dynamics of the class consists of an hour of exposition on the subject, which is done by the teacher, and a second hour where practical work is done around short readings.
 These works are usually essays, drawings, critiques, questions or comments about the topic read and within the contents of the readings are text within the history, criticism of Latin American architecture, the classical language of architecture, the Mesoamerican space, the process of urbanization in Latin America, among others. My favorite subjects within this subject is when reference is made to Latin American cases, I love learning more and more about our roots and origins, as well as our influences of the Spanish conquest.  Another thing that I like about this subject is the teacher's planning in relation to the course, since it allows us as students to be compatible with the academic load of other branches. You can also interact and discuss the issues with other colleagues in a very comfortable and relaxed way.

Who is a person/expert on your field that you admire?

Hi friends, this last time i had to work with landscapes architecture and looking for reference i came to discover  the architecture of Luis Callejas.
Luis Callejas, has become an architect that i admire. This architect is of Colombia nationality and has been commissioned to introduce a natural and geographical ideology in his projects, making a relationship in the history and the value of the landscape.
This architec's office is called LCLA office and has projects around  the world. In the first image of the publication he show some of his works thar i admire and call my attention. This work done by the architect talks about emerging cities and landscapes.
What i like most about this image is the form of representation and is what i admire most of this architect, since his models and blades  have a very subtle style.

I recommend you visit their websites has very good projects of differebt types and scales, plus you can consider it as a reference for your next projects that are about landscape.

THE SIMS

Hi! friends, my favorite video game is The Sims, the house party version. What i like most about this game is that you can build houses and decorate them whit the style you want. You can also  manipulate the  sims who represent human beings who sleep, eat, and work etc.

I started playing it when i was 10  years old, my parents gave it to me for my birthday.  Althougth the firts time i met the game was playing whit my best friends.

As it is a social simulation game you can think that you can play it whit many people online, but  this version of the game only allows you play it alone.

I love this game but i would also love to play board games again, for example the Monopoly, it's a very entertaining game and i still do not learn its rules :(
I recommend this game a lot, and i hope you  recommend me others games :)
